# Privacy policy — Hide VK Feed Ads (Скрыть рекламу ленты ВК) The extension hides promoted posts (posts marked «Реклама» / ad) in the VK news feed. It has no server, no account, no analytics and no ads. **What it reads.** Only on vk.com, m.vk.com, vk.ru and m.vk.ru. In feed items it reads short captions such as «Реклама 0+» and VK's own ad markers, and marks the matching item so a style rule hides it. On messenger pages it does nothing; it never reads message text. Nothing it reads is stored or sent anywhere, and it does not run on any other site. **What is sent outside your browser.** Nothing. The extension makes no network requests and downloads no rules. **What is stored, only on this device.** One value in `storage.local`: whether hiding is on or off. **Removing data.** Removing the extension deletes the stored value. **What is never collected:** personal data, messages, browsing history, what you read or watch, analytics, advertising identifiers. Nothing is sold or shared with the author or anyone else.
